"CREATE YOURSELF" EXCURSIONS TO THE PUSHKIN MUSEUM OF FINE ART

The Moscow Times in partnership with the Pushkin Museum of Fine Art have conducted the first excursion for the children participating in the charity program "Create Yourself" to the exhibit "Gallery of European and American Art of the 19th-20th Centuries".

The excursion to the exhibit of creative masterpieces of the 19th and 20th centuries was lead by Elena

Rymshina, who explained how, during the second half of the 19th century, the rich and valuable collection of art from legendary masters was gathered.

The action, which was attended by children of the Central Administrative District of Moscow, was held in The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts at the center of the aesthetic education of children «Museyon» at June 1, in connection with the days of child protection. On this day there were organized children's excur¬sions of the main exhibition of the museums and fine art experts conducted workshops on fine arts, painting on glass. The children displayed their impressions of that day at colored crayons asphalt.
